What Customers Say About Fearless:

Why now are they having an epiphany about kicking their man to the left and busting their window. It features Missy Elliott and a reggae-type beat. She already has 3 top-10 singles, a gold album and a tour with Musiq and Anthony Hamilton. Women singing the song cause of the revenge side and men grooving cause they aint listening to the words and just going along with the beat.

I wish she had more songs like that. The vibe of this album is definitely geared towards women. Unfortunately, the other ballad "After The Hurricane", isn't as good. Her hazy voice glides through this song with so much emotion. "Need U Bad", is the first single. Maybe because I'm a man, I just don't understand why a woman would want to "Bust Your Windows".

She has excellent vocal range and a beautiful tone reminiscent of a young Aretha Franklin. Jazmine Sullivan is attempting to break that curse. I had hoped her remake of Beyonce's "Resentment" would make the album. Its not that Tweet, Nicole Wray and Ms.Jade weren't talented, they just didn't have the staying power to last. She even pulls out a high note to close the song.

But somehow Jazmine makes both men and women groove to the infectious beat. Even when I probably shouldn't. But it slowly grew on me because of the lyrics. When I first heard Jazmine Sullivan, I thought here goes another Missy Elliott protégé who is here for a quick fix and gone before you can remember her name. And she shows her age on "Switch" and "Dream Big". To me it was her attempt at amusing the younger audience who can't relate to her tales of heartbreak and revenge. But it was left off.

It should also be noted that Jazmine wrote or co-wrote all of the album with great production from Salaam Remi. What is it with female R & B singers making songs about hurting their man these days. Jazmine Sullivan continues this trend. That's a big accomplishment for a rookie.Jazmine Sullivan has an "old soul" way ahead of her 22 years of age. She is very talented and should continue to grow. At first I thought "Lions, Tigers & Bears", was corny as hell. She impresses me most with the ballad "In Love With Another Man". I love their music.

And put the baseball bats down.

She deserves a Grammy award. Her writing is mature, refreshing and soulful. Her songs appeal to the old and theyoung and in-between (like me).

I think Jazmine Sullivan is a fantastic breath of fresh air for those of us who are hankering for young female R&B artists who don't feel the need to be half naked to sell an album. I see you doing big things. Come on, don't get high and mighty like you never busted a dude's windows (or thought about it) or wanted his best friend instead of him.

As she develops as an artist she will become stronger and stronger. Keep at it, Ms. Her voice is beautiful, the first album is a solid stepping stone for breaking into the industry as the CD as a whole is strong.

LOL, she's just being real. As a side note, this CD is really funny to me because she's just so damn HONEST. And that's what appeals to me.

Sullivan. :-)

Catchy chorus. Amazing track and probably her best. In fact, I think that it would have fit fine on the final album (but maybe they didn't think it was good enough). Whoever that is in the beginning and the end, I love the accent.

And if you know anything about them it's that they are youthful, and can sometimes have a short attention span (hence the one night stands and loss of interest). C+SIX: ONE NIGHT STAND - Fun, fun, fun. Nice orchestration. If this all sounds inviting and you haven't picked up the album yet, then why are you still reading this and contemplating.TRACKS TO DOWNLOAD (in order):FearIn Love With Another ManLions, Tigers & Bears Dream BigBust Your WindowsMy Foolish HeartOverall Grade: B- In fact, by today's standards it's just that.

BFIVE: CALL ME GUILTY - About domestic violence. It's an inspirational mid tempo about doing big things and following your dreams. About wanting your man (or woman) and needing them bad. I really find something charming in Jazmine's lyrics. Replay-ability is super high strangely. B-THREE: MY FOOLISH HEART - Soulful vocals as usual.

B-TEN: FEAR - Another one that once I discovered it, it was seriously on repeat over and over. ONE: BUST YOUR WINDOWS - This song is good but it's overplayed by now. Underrated vocals but almost feels like too much information. B-SEVEN: AFTER THE HURRICANE - Stargate's beat sounds like so many typical R&B beats out there, with the back beat that I really can't stand. - The last fun track. B-EIGHT: DREAM BIG - This is another fun track.

Talks about Miss Sulivan's fears about life and things that we can all relate to on one level or another. Some won't be feeling it, but I'm one that does. Again, sure you've heard it already. The beat is probably the best on the album. Not only is Jazmine young, but she's an Aries.

I just feel that this all is an experience that a young lady like herself has been through and she's just sharing her story. B-All in all, this album is just short of amazing. Amazing high note at the end that I can perform too (just not as fantastic (her voice is better)). One of the songs that feels enhanced when you are walking with you iPod/mp3 player. Very upbeat and funny but just real and telling it like it is. Must be put on repeat. It's about someone you just can't let go because they do you so good but they might not be the best for you.

But for some reason I don't really get sick of it. B-FOUR: LIONS, TIGERS & BEARS - Contender for best lyrics on the album. B+TWELVE: SWITCH. Good from start to finish.

She also repeats the chorus too much at the end. I'm not the type to do that type of thing too often, and so far have never done it but I still find this song fun and easy to put on the repeat button. Don't ask me to pronounce that. Not surprised there.

An old-school-sounding sample rides through as the lyrics of a relationship going bad ensues. A-ELEVEN: IN LOVE WITH ANOTHER MAN - A slow groove, with nice lyrics and a great vocal performance. BTWO: NEED U BAD - Her first single. Anyway, the only problem I have with this song is that the excellent verses are interjected by the wobbly chorus. I'm a Taurus and I happen to have my faults also. I think the lyrics that are decent but only show promise, the great beats and the vocals of this album carry her through like some other R&B wannabe divas could only envy. I can't even play that one straight through. One of the better vocal works on the album.

B-THIRTEEN: BEST OF ME (iTUNES BONUS TRACK) - Downloaded this track recently. I don't find them juvenile at all. This album is 3x as good as Beyoncé's dud of an album, Sasha Fierce. It's another track that the ladies could relate too. BNINE: LIVE A LIE - Very, very interesting use of sample.

Addicting beat. Even some guys can vibe to it. It's not a bad track, but it just doesn't hold its own as well (against the others). Samples Daft Punk's "Veridis Quo". It's not bad.

The filler is kept to a minimum and the beats are R&B, Soul and Hip-Hop lite goodness.

I was not disappointed. I love After the Hurricane, very pretty slow jam. Then I heard"Bust your windows" and I knew I had to cop the album. When I heard Jazmine's first single, "Need you bad", I was very curious about her music. No rappers to mess anything up. PURE FIRE.

I TOLD U IT WAS GOOD.THAT IS 7 SONGS ON ONE ALBUM.

Her voice is beautiful and expressive.

This album rocks.

That song had the reggae flavor that I loved and it was very authentic.

It is so difficult to get a good album these days.

Sass and soul is evident in everything she sings.

Besides Bust your windows and Need U Bad, check out After the Hurricane, One Night Stand, Dream Big, Lions, Tigers, & Bears.and In Love with another man.

Only cameo is Missy which is great.

If you are an R&B fan, with a splash of Do Wop, Reggae, and old fashioned soul, you will love this album.
